A slow-wave system of 30 KV electron beam voltage has been designed and constructed. The dispersion characteristic and the interaction impedance of the system has been measured. From the comparison of the measured values with the corresponding calculated values of the dispersion characteristic, it is noticed that the difference between the theoretical value and its experimental result of the upper cut-off frequency is only about 0.6%, for the lower cut-off frequency about 2.8%.

A method that uses the principle of self-sustained Townsend discharge to measure the total pressure of residual gases in magnetrons has been tested with correctional system.
