In order to find a reliable sensing available to automatic treating Cr (Ⅵ) waste water potentiometric titration of Cr (Ⅵ) solution with NaHSO_3 are carried out. It is found experimentally that at pH≤2 a very reliable and accurate information avail- ble to automatic controll can be obtained from the differential titrtrting curve. By using the second order differential a micro- computer-controlled device is established to verify the discussion of this paper and satisfactory expermental results are obtained.
