Pressure tuning spectroscopy has proved to be a powerful tool for studying a wide variety of electronic phenomena.
      


In this paper we describe the principle, arrangements and results of CO2 saturated absorption observed by fluoresence technique. The dependence of signal amplitude of fluoresence dip, width, relative depth on some parameters (pressure of obsorbtion gas amplitude and frequency of modulation, input laser power etc) have been measured and the results are discussed.

There are two ef fects on the ν (W≡C) of this compound with increasing pressure:th e normal increasing the ν (W≡C) wavenumber due to the shorting W ≡C bond and increasing the W-CO π backbonding to decrease the ν (W ≡C) wavenumber.
