The Jiapigou block of the southern part of Jilin province was called late Archeozoic greenstone basin which is rich in gold. The supracrustal rock lithochemistry characterisitics exhibit that there is not the typical komatiite in the rock asociation; the matamorphic plutonic intrusive rock is a typical TTG magmatic association; Na-Ca-K diagram shows the evolutionary trend which is from tonalite to trondhjemote. The rare earth (RE) characteristics show that the total volume is relative low with light RE enrichment; δEu is slightly positive anomaly or nonanomaly; the pattern is similar to the high-alumina tonalite-trondjemite model by J.G.Arthoqu (1982), belonging to high-alumina continental TTG rock series. Dating source bed age through using ore lead secondary isochron by WANG Yi?wen (1981), the age of the Jiapigou cluster supracrustal rock is supposed to be 3 700Ma, 3 500Ma and 3 100Ma. Using three stages isotopic model of ore lead isotope (1984), the age of source bed is supposed to be 3 100Ma-2 800Ma; the age of TTG rock series and Sm-Nd isotime line are 2 639Ma; Rb-Sr isotime line age is 2 516Ma; U-Pb concordant age is 2 565Ma. It shows that the formation or a main hydrothermal tectonic event occurred in the late Archean era, that is the mathching period of the southern Longgang landmass. The kaligranite was emplaced along Jiapigou (Banmiaozi-Erdaogou) ductile shear mathching zone and U-Pb isotime line age is 2 457Ma.

Micro fine disseminated protores were examined, from the Banqi and Lannigou deposits, using an integrated method. The results showed that 1M illite is one of the primary gold carrier and the gold is present as ion gold in the structure of illite.This discovery provides the new basis for the design of gold extracting technology.
