The paper studies the influence of shot peening on the fatique life of lowalloy high strength steel under pulsating cyclic tension load. The study reveals that the reason for the increased overload fatigue resistance lies in the redistribution of residuel stresses in the steel structure after shot peening. The experimental results show that for ∠σ=90kg/mm~2 and for low temperture tempered martensite the average fatique life with shot peening is 5.5 times longer than that without, while for medium temperture...

They show that the strengthening effects are different structures. It is concluded therefore that shot peening has proved to be a powerful method of increasing the fatigue resistance of high strength steel parts under cyclic tension.

本文通过喷丸强化前后残余应力的测定,疲劳断口和显微组织结构变化特征的电镜观察,研究了喷丸强化对低合金高强度钢在拉-拉脉动循环载荷作用下疲劳寿命的影响规律,以及对提高过载寿命的有效性. 试验结果表明:在拉-拉脉动载荷△σ=90kg/mm~2时,低温回火马氏体组织喷丸强化前后平均疲劳寿命提高了4.5倍;中温回火的屈氏体组织平均提高了2.9倍.指出了这一强化措施对不同组织状态的有效性,为承受拉-拉循环脉动应力作用的零部件大幅度提高疲劳抗力提供了试验依据.

Chemical constitutions mechanical properties and metallographs of the main components of a BJ Type MAA-250 Elevator are investigated. Examination and test shows that the materials are characterized by high hardenability, less notch sensitivity and cold shortness and that the guideline of iso-strength of individual parts is followed.
