One is in the pre-Sinian crystalline basement (Upper Archean-lower Proterozoic), and the other is in the diwa structural layer (Mesozoic-Cenozoic) . This paper is to describe the general geological conditions in this area and the geological characteristics of the deposit. The formation of the gold (nickel) deposit is discussed from various aspects such as the nature of mineralizing source rocks (the gold-bearing ultrabasic rocks), the sulfur isotope composition, the source of silica, the gold abundance of ultrabasic rocks and the gold concentration in their weathering crust and the cilicified rocks, the characteristics of fluid inclusions and temperature of mineralization,the conditions of gold mobilization and removal the hydrothermal alteration series occurred in ultrabasic rocks, etc. It is thought to be mainly a middle-temperature hydrothermal gold deposit formed by acidic hydrothermal alteration of ultrabasic rocks. 'The Hydrothermal Type Gold Deposit in Altered ultrabasic Rocks' is a new type of gold deposits and suggests a new concept to metallogeny.

金厂金矿是我省当前唯一的大型金矿床,也是国内已知由超基性岩提供金质、构成大型金矿床的唯一实例。本文介绍了矿区地质概况和矿床地质特征,从矿源岩(含矿的超基性岩)属性、硫同位素组成、硅质来源、超基性岩含金丰度值及其风化壳和硅化岩的金富集、包裹体特征及成矿温度、活化转移条件——超基性岩热液蚀变序列的存在等方面,对金(镍)矿床的形成进行了探讨。认为它是由超基性岩经酸性热液蚀变而形成的中温热液型(为主)金矿床。“超基性岩蚀变热液型金矿床”,在岩金矿床中是新的类型,在矿床成因学上是新的概念。

In this paper, the problem of the mineralogical mark for exploring and prospecting gold deposits from Xiaoqinling gold field in Henan province, China is discussed. This paper deals with typomorphic properties, which include chemical compositions, physical properties, morphological characteristics and crystal structures of main minerals,such as quartz, pyrite , chalcopyrite and galena. In this paper, the problem of the mineralogical mark for exploring and prospecting gold deposits from Xiaoqinling gold field in Henan province, China is discussed. This paper deals with typomorphic properties, which include chemical compositions, physical properties, morphological characteristics and crystal structures of main minerals,such as quartz, pyrite , chalcopyrite and galena. These typomorpihc properties will be helpful to the researches in the magmatic hydrothermal genesis of the gold deposits in the Xiaoqinling gold field. Authors of this paper challenge the viewpoint of the metamorphic hydrothermal genesis of the gold deposits. The evidence of typomorphic properties provides the further indication for exploring and prospecting gold.

本文讨论了河南小秦岭金矿田寻找金矿的矿物学标志问题,诸如石英、黄铁矿、黄铜矿、方铅矿等主要矿物的化学成分、物理性质、形态特征和晶体构造等方面之标型特征。这些标型特征有助于研究小秦岭金矿田中金矿床的岩浆热液成因。作者对金矿床的变质热液成因观点持反对态度。这些矿物标型特征提供了寻找金矿的指示信息。
