The thesis uses pulse-echo method, chooses TMS320VC5402 from TI which is core of control and operation in the system, equips high speed A/D and other high precision components. After doing some research about ultrasonic transmitting characteristics, a ultrasonic nondestructive testing system has been designed based on DSP.
