This paper is a preliminary analysis and generalization of the results on the ploidy and fertility of pollen plants from 864 rice clusters and their genetic performances of inter- and intra-cluster (or plant) lines and various seedlings derived from the same callus and cluster.Without artificial doubling the polyploid, diploid and haploid were 1.9-8.0%, 43.3 -72.0% and 20-48.4%, respectively. In the H1 generation of diploid, fertile clusters were 73.2-74.4%, but sterile 26.8-25.6%. The proportion of sterile cluster was the largest for the pollen plants of trilinear hybrids. In the fertile materials, the pollen plants with a good fertility were the largest in proportion for the bred varieties; the lower fertility level in H1 generation was restoredt in the H2 generation to a different extent. With regard to the H2 generation of hybrid materials, the main economic characters of interclusters exhibiting diversitybrids. In the fertile materials, the pollen plants of bred varieties were the same as, or similar to the original varieties except a small number of materials which produced obvious variation. The pollen plants of each cluster (or plant) line showed themselves to be uniform, but no segregation was observed. The identical cluster's pollen plants differentiated from identical callus showed similar characters for majority but different ones for minority, i.e. some diploid plants could be classified into two or over two typies, but others were mixed clusters with different ploidy plants. The mixed harvesting and sowing of the materials as mentioned above may be the cause for the simple segregation.

864丛水稻花粉植株在未经人工加倍的情况下,多倍体占1.9—8.0%,二倍体占43.3—72.0%,单倍体占20.0—48.4%。在二倍体H_1代中,可育丛为73.2—74.4%,不育丛为26.8—25.6%,其中三系杂交种的花粉植株不育丛的比例最大;H_1代育性水平不高者,在H_2代都有不同程度的恢复。杂种材料的H_2代各丛(株)系间主要经济性状都表现出多样性,并有超亲性状出现。育成品种的花粉植株多数与原品种相同或相近,只有少数材料发生明显变异。花粉植株各丛(株)系内部都表现整齐一致,没有观察到分离现象。同一块愈伤组织分化出的同丛花粉植株,多数表现相同,有少数分出两种或两种以上的不同倍性植株的混合丛。
