所谓基于RISC处理器的媒体加速器的体系结构是指以RISC处理器为核心处理器,配以媒体加速器来加速媒体处理能力的不对称体系结构。本文介绍了这种体系结构中媒体加速器部分的分模块设计与模拟的方法。该方法的优势在于具有普适性、模拟结果准确;提出了简化计算测试的模型与连接各模块整体测试的方法,采用这种测试模型可以极大的加快测试速度,同时该模型具有可配置性,通过改变参数可以对多种体系结构进行测试。为了证明该方法与模型的可操作性,本文介绍了基于MIPS的H.264媒体加速器的设计,及其中去块滤波的具体测试方法与设计结果。通过使用我们的方法,可以很容易得从众多设计方案中选择出最优的设计方案。
