Multilayered metal were fabricated using explosive welding technique. Impact velocity minimized during the collision of multilayers within small stand-off distances, but successful welding ask the impact velocity of the first layer must be less than the superior limit and of the last layer must be bigger than the inferior limit. The maximal number of the layers which can be successfully processed was improved by added driver plate, simultaneously, controlled the mass of impact plate to control the impact velocity. In this paper, one-dimension finite element was used to calculated the impact velocity of between layers, and all experiments were designed according the calculation results and open-air explosion,the studies of metallographic view showed out that,wave interfaces can be observed, which suggest good bonding.

多层金属板的爆炸焊接作业中,碰撞速度随着层数递减,由碰撞速度的上、下限可以得出最大可焊层数。通过添加并调节冲击板的质量,达到控制碰撞初速并增大可焊层数的目的。本文利用一维有限元理论结合冲击动力学方法分别对3层、7层、11层铝板爆炸焊接层间碰撞速度变化进行了数值模拟,并根据模拟结果安排试验,对所得试件的金相观察表明,施焊效果良好。
