In this paper, the calculations of kinematics, dynamics, balance and fatigue strength of pistoncrank mechanism of a multi-cylinder multi-bank single crankshaft engine with articulated connecting rods are given.In considering the influence of the inertia of articulated connecting rod pins on dynamic strength, the accurate formulae not simplified by approximation are used for kinematic and dynamic calculations. In order to study their influence on main bearing loads, the counterweights are positioned arbitrarily. The bearing loads and crankshaft fatigue strength are calculated according to the principle of a simple beam. The calculation program in this paper is applicable to the engine with side-by-side or fork connecting rods as well.

本文叙述了单轴多列多缸主、副连杆活塞机构的运动学、动力学、平衡及曲轴疲劳强度计算。运动学、动力学按未经近似简化的精确公式计算,并考虑了副连杆销的运动惯性力对动力强度的影响。平衡重可以任意布置,以研究其对主轴承负荷的影响。轴承负荷及曲轴疲劳强度的计算均按简支梁进行。所编制的程序亦适用于并列、叉型连杆活塞机构内燃机的计算。

This paper describes the investigation into the calculation of the kinematics and dynamics of main and articulated connecting rods of diesel engines. It is known to all that the swing motion of these rods is very complicated. As to the customary type, side-by-side type or fork type connecting rod, each of them is considered as a specific case. Formulas for calculating the kinematics of any particle of the connecting rods and the inertia of any local minimass are derived. Hence, the lateral push forces acting on pistons and the loads on piston pins, crankpins and their bearings are calculated according to the gas pressure and the piston inertia. The forces acting on the connecting rod bolts and on the parting of big-end bearings are also shown clearly.The method introduced in this paper gives more reliable boundary conditions for the calculation of strength, balance and vibration of any diesel engine.The authors recommend that it has to resort to the elastic contact theory to analyse the load distribution on various bearing surfaces in order to take into account the elastic deformation.

本文以柴油机中作最复杂运动的主副连杆机构为研究对象(单列、并列和叉形连杆都是主副连杆的特例)。首走推导出连杆上任一质点的精确的运动学公式,并获得连杆上任一微质量的复杂的惯性力计算式,随后在连杆惯性力、燃气压力和活塞组的往复惯性力共同作用下求得活塞侧推力以及活塞销、副连杆销、曲柄销和各轴承的负荷。同时分析了连杆螺栓和大头結合面的受力情况。这就为柴油机的强度计算、平衡和振动计算提供可靠的受力边界条件。在分析各承载表面的负荷分布形式时,作者提出应该结合弹性接触分析方法,以使由于弹性变形而引起的负荷不均匀分布形式得到如实的反映。

This paper possesses the unique features in forming and solving the system of equations.The elliptical deformation of the pin and the bush of a articulated connecting rod under the maximum load is computed by means of the developed program. The extent of the elliptical deformation is computed, using two models of pins with and without a through hole.

本文根据接触状态下的有限元基本方程,通过对定解条件、约束条件的分析应用,得出了仅与接触点有关的定解方程。 运用所编制的电算程序对某柴油机副连杆销及孔在最大载荷下的失圆变形进行了计算。通过采用空心及实心销两种简化模型计算得出了实际副连杆销的失圆变形范围。
