Based on the electrometric experiments in paddy and simulative test in laboratory, the author, has in the aspects of soil deformation, motion of boat, force exerted on the boat body and data analysis, explored the slipping sinkage,slipping resistance and the effect caused by the no- minal pressure ratio of boat body. In the paper, the slipping sinkage is divided into two parts: the one is expressed by soil penetration parameters, and the other is the compensatory one owing to the cone size effect of penetrometer. An empirical formula resulting from the experiments is introduced here. Analysis indicated that the compaction work principle or simple frictional resistance can not describle the slipping resistance correctly when in deep paddy. It is suggested that all factors, i.e. friction, sticking, hull-dozing and viscous drag constitute a multiple resistance. For simplification and practicality, the slipping resistance vs. nominal ground pressure ratio have been describled as a linear function from which an empirical, formula is obtained

An extensive anal-ysis shows that neither the compaction work done nor the simple friction resistance could describe the slipping resistance of the body in deep paddyproperly. The slipping resistance is composed of many factors-f riction, stic-king, bulldozing and viscous drag. For the convenience of use, the author prese-nts an empirical formula which expresses the slipping resistauce as a linear function of the nominal ground specific pressure.

According to the results of the boat model testa and the full-scale boat tests carried out in the test pools, the sailing resistances of the floating boat on water under different velocities are studied in this paper.Some suggestions are proposed to reduce the resistance. In order to study the sliding resistance of the floating boat in paddy field soil, a soil bin is built in which the tests are conducted.The results indicate that the sliding resistance is greatly reduced by the lubrication effect of a thin film plaster on the soil surface. The theory of liquid lubrication is introduced into this study.The data obtained from the soil bin tests are entered into the electronic computer and the regression analysis is made with a special developed program. A semi-empirical expression for sliding resistance of floating boats is presented. The measured and predicted values of the sliding resistance in soft paddy field soil are found in good correlation. The resistance coefficients presented in this paper can be used as the reference to predict the sliding resistance of floating boat under similar conditions.

船式拖拉机在深软水田中工作、或在河网地区为进行田间转移而在水中行驶时,船体是其主要的支承部件。本文根据水池试验得到的船模和船拖原型船体在不同前进速度下行驶阻力的试验结果,研究了船体在水中的行驶阻力,提出了降低阻力的途径。为研究船体在水田泥中的滑行阻力,研制了一条土槽进行试验。结果表明:田面有泥浆薄层时船体滑行阻力将大大降低。引入液体润滑理论对泥浆薄层的润滑作用进行了探讨,并用电子计算机对土槽试验数据进行回归分析,提出了船体滑行阻力的半经验表达式。船体在稀软田中滑行阻力的实测和预测值看来是相当一致的。文中列出的阻力系数值可供预测同类条件下的船拖船体滑行阻力时参考。
