So, a new Model R6250Z diesel engine rated 862 kW (900 PS) at 750 r/min is developed. This paper discusses various modifications carrying out on many important parts of the original Model 6250 diesel engine, such as configuration of combustion chamber, ducts in cylin der head, inlet and exhaust cams, valve timing, fuel injection system as well as engine frame, crankshaft, etc. The testing result will be introduced on this issue also in the near fature.

重庆红岩机器厂生产8250和6250Z型221~331kW(300~450PS)中速柴油机及其各种变型产品已有多年。最近为适应国内外市场的需要,该厂利用正在生产的老机型改进强化,扩大功率和使用范围,研制了一种新机型R625 Z,转速750r/min,功率862kW(900PS)。本期将先介绍在原6250Z型基础上所进行的强化修改设计,其中包括了燃烧室形状、缸盖气道、进排气凸轮、配气定时、燃油喷射系统以及机体、曲轴等主要零部件的变动。以后将介绍其试验结果。

This paper reports a new scavenging method using double peak exhaust cames in the four stroke pulse turbocharging diesel engines, which does not break the geometry of combustion chamber on the head of piston. By means of this method the good experimental results of turbocharging engine type 495Z and 6135Z have been obtained.

本文介绍作者应用双峰排气凸轮在四冲程脉冲涡轮增压柴油机上实现扫气而不加深活塞顶部让阀坑的新方法.此法已在495Z及6135Z两种涡轮增压柴油机上进行了试验,并取得了有益的效果.

In this paper, a mixed mode numerical procedure concerning calculation . of the engine cam lift is given. The procedure was used for product design.
