Objective To evaluate transurethral electrovaporization of the prostate (TVP) in the treatment of bladder outlet obstruction caused by advanced prostatic neoplasms.
Methods:Light microscopy and immunohistochemistry examinations(EnVision staining) were performed in 151 cases of prostatic neoplasms to correlate the morphology and protein expression of P504s and prostate specific antigen(PSA).
Methods 36 cases of prostate cancer, 6 prostatitis, 10 benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), 10 normal prostate tissue and 38 non prostate neoplasms (including bladder cancer, renal cancer, testis neoplasm, colon rectal cancer, etc.) were analysed for the expression of PSM by using Ed 5 monoclonal antibody and EnVision TM immununohistochemical staining.
Aim and Methods To investigate the effect of UCN-01(7-hydroxystaurosporine) on cell migration and invasion ability of DU-145, an invasive human prostate cancer cell line.
In vitro cytotoxity of various DOX formulations and in vivo toxicity of DARSLs were evaluated using DOX-resistant rat prostate cancer cell line (MLLB2), human uterus sarcoma cell line (MES-SA/DX5) and normal SD rats, separately.
Plasma membrane fraction corresponding to lysosomal, mitochondrial, and microsomal subcellular compartments are probably critical in Zn and Cd participation in human prostate neoplasms.
However, there is overlap in p27 expression among individual cases of benign and malignant tumors, and p27 has only limited prognostic utility in endocrine tumors compared to some epithelial tumors such as breast and prostate neoplasms.
Lack of efficient GJIC is a molecular event, which may contribute not only to limited extent of "bystander effect", but also to initiation and progression of prostatic neoplasm.
