In this paper mechanism of sub-surface blisters formation in large copperalloy marine propellers has been theoretically analysed and studied with modeltests made in laboratories.High strength manganese-aluminum brass(ZHAI 67-5-2-2)and manganese-aluminum bronze(ZQAI 12-8-3-2)contain elements,such as Al,Mn,Zn,etc.,which have greater vapour while pouring and form oxides andhydrogen(e.g.Me+H_2o→Meo+H_2).The hydrogen,formed by the metal-moldinteraction,dissolves and concentrates in the molten alloy.This is the importantfactor...

本文从理论上分析了大型船用铜合金螺旋桨皮下气孔形成的机理,在实验室条件下进行了皮下气孔模拟试验。针对缺陷形成的原因,在生产条件下采取了相应的工艺措施,不仅消除了皮下气孔,而且还大大减少了加工余量,实现了少余量铸造工艺,显著地提高了大型船用螺旋桨的质量。

The relationship between the chemical compositions,zinc equivalents,castmicrostructures,ordinary mechanical properties and the fracture toughness ofseveral high-strength brasses for marine propellers was studied,at the same timethe relationship between various cast microstructure and their susceptibility tostress corrosion cracking(SCC)was also compared.The β phase obtained by high zinc equivalent gives brass higher strength,but lower fracture toughness and higher susceptibility to SCC.The α+β phasebrass has higher fracture toughness and lower SCC tendency in compare with thebrass with single β phase.Therefore an appropriate increase in α phase contentcan increase the plasticity of high-strength brass and so that increase its fracturetoughness and decrease SCC tendency.From the view of fracture mechanics itmust pay enough attention to the plasticity for propeller materials,not only tothe higher strength.

本文针对船用螺旋桨用的铜合金材料,对比研究了几种常用的高强度黄铜的化学成分、锌当量、铸态组织、常规力学性能、断裂韧性和裂纹扩展速率之间的内在联系,分析对比了几种铜合金铸态组织的海水腐蚀倾向以及应力腐蚀开裂倾向。
