Geological disaster is one kind of the major natural disasters which menaces and can make heavy losses for the economical construction and mankind living environment, and has been taken seriously in recent years by all the countries in the world. The investigation, monitoring and prediction of geological disasters by using various advanced technology including remote sensing has become a common task for mankind. In this paper the research results in recent years for geological disasters using remote sensing technology in China were recounted with a lot of examples. The strategy and main tasks were proposed about how to bring the advantage of remote sensing into play further and to reduce the losses of geological disasters in the "Decade of Natural Disaster Reduction"(DNDR) under the United Nations resolution.

地质灾害是目前威胁经济建设和人类生存环境,并造成巨大损失的一种重大自然灾害,近年 来已为世界各国所重视。利用包括遥感技术在内的各种先进科学技术手段对地质灾害进行调查、 监测和预测已成为全人类共同的任务。 本文以大量事实追述了近年来我国利用遥感技术对地质灾害进行研究的成果,提出了在联合 国决议的“减灾十年”中我国如何进一步发挥遥感技术优势,以减轻地质灾害损失的战略和主要 任务。

Among various natural disasters , the authorput special emphasis on earthquake disaster analysis. There is a certain relation between earthquake and environment factor, such as solar activity and weather. Environment factors often play modulating and stimulating roles in earthquake occurrences. Weather change and solar activity can affect the frequency and strength of earthquake occurrence. In order to support the activity of "the decade plan of international reduction of disaster", the author has also discussed disaster countermeasures in this paper.

本文概略综述了近年来世界争论的“地球危机”问题。由于人类的活动,大气中二氧化碳等增加,气候恶化,地球升温,导致一系列重大自然灾害,严重地威协着人类。本文特对地震灾害进行了分析,温室效应对地球表面的升温,虽不至于直接影响到地震的孕育和发生,但是观测事实表明,环境因子太阳活动和气象与地震之间存在某种联系,对地震的发生常常起有调制和触发的作用,大气变化和太阳活动会影响到地震发生的频度和强度。为配合“国际减灾十年”活动,本文亦讨论了对策问题。
