The analysis of race and hazard of the combinational logic circuit based on MultisimV7 and use them in teaching , which makes teaching more objective ,lively and attractive , and also brings a close combination between theoretical teaching and practice. It is proved that the MultisimV7 is a trend of experimental teaching.
A descriptve method o? race and hazard phenomenon in logic circuits is introduced, which has the advantage of intuition and imagery, and especially provides leads for further Study of race and hazard as well as means of avoiding them.
It is indicated that in comparison with the propagation algorithm of signal probability the propagation algorithm based on multiple-valued signal's behavior have advantages that the calculation is direct one and the glitches resulted from race hazard can be taken into account,whereby the estimation accuracy of power dissipation can be improved.
