     Based on multidisciplinary analyses of sedimentology,environmental magnetism,ichnology, mineralogy and geochemistry, it is found that,in the reddish- grey lamination in rhythmic deposits,there are various features about flocculent deposits with high susceptibility , high contents of total Fe and free Fe, and higher grades of bioturbation,showing that changes with chemical sedimentation caused by climatic cycles are the main controlling factor on the rhythmic beddings, and bioturbation could accelerate changes in micro-chemical environment on surface between water and sediments.

In 1987 in Ba Da Ling (the Great Wall) a new museum appeared, which commemorates Mr. Zhan Tianyou——a pioneer among Chinese intellectuals-engineers and a great patriot. In the courtyard of the museum there is a big relief (41.80 m. long and 5.40 m.high), which is designed and partially made by me. This article will be describing the process of composing and making the relief, which is made of red and grey granite. A "S" form railway symbolizing the real form of the railway line from Beijing to Zhang Jia Kou runs through the whole relief. On the grey granite the sculptor depicts some important events in Chinese modern history, which is also the historical background of Mr. Zhan's life. On the red granite there are a huge head of Mr. Zhan,a part of quotations from him and description of railway construction. The last part of the relief is about how confidently the Chinese people is marching forward. In the article Ⅰ emphasized the way Ⅰ handled the relation between the museum building and the relief and between the audience and the relief.

The satisfactory results can be obtained witheasy-application, easy-grading and accuracy.

本文介绍用染色法测定棉花成熟度,用由红绿两拼色及红灰、红蓝(199)、红蓝(81)共4个组合,结合制定5档1~5品级棉花所规定的成熟度指标参考标样进行测定。本方法对控制和评定成熟度等级具有应用简便、易分辨、精确等优点。
