For the analysis of perceptional features of Chinese consonants, a method has been used for multidimensional scaling by means of optimizing the fitting to the confusion probabilities of consonants as observed in articulation tests- The dependence of minimum Stress as criterion for fitting on dimensions has been obtained. The Stress has been found to decrease with increase of the number of dimensions. On the basis of the values of Stress, we found that the dimensions of perceptional space featuring Chinese consonants...

For the analysis of perceptional features of Chinese consonants, a method has been used for multidimensional scaling by means of optimizing the fitting to the confusion probabilities of consonants as observed in articulation tests- The dependence of minimum Stress as criterion for fitting on dimensions has been obtained. The Stress has been found to decrease with increase of the number of dimensions. On the basis of the values of Stress, we found that the dimensions of perceptional space featuring Chinese consonants should not be less than three. The typical three dimension configuration obtained can separate the voiced consonants from the unvoiced in the first dimension; the aspirated from the unaspirated in the second dimension ; while the third dimension serves to reflect the place of articulation. It follows that the voiced/unvoiced, aspirated/unaspirated and place of articulation are exceedingly important distinctive features of Chinese consonants.

为获得汉语辅音的知觉特征,我们采用了拟合的最佳品质因素的多维标度,对汉语辅音的知觉混淆矩阵进行分析。其结果是求得了作为拟合优度标准的归一化残差值(Stress)随维数增加而减少的函数关系,由此得到的结论是表征汉语辅音的知觉空间不得少于三维。从所求得的有代表性的三维结构中可以看出:第一维代表清音-浊音;第二维代表送气-不送气;第三维代表发音部位,因此可以认为清-浊、送气-不送气和发音部位是汉语最基本的区别特征。我们将21个汉语辅音的知觉特征形象化地表示于一个多维的心理空间,有助于对知觉特征的进一步研究,并且为汉语辅音的科学分类提供心理、物理实验的支持。本文简单介绍多维标度方法,讨论利用台式电子计算机进行多维标度的程序设计、空白记录的处理和初始结构的设定问题,并列举典型的分析结果。这些结果将在另一篇关于汉语辅音知觉特征的文章中作详细讨论。

本文基于函数式语言的并行LE计值语义,提出了一个针对TRANSPUTER网络的函数式语言的并行抽象机模型──并行LEMACHINE.在该抽象机中由于LE计值分析方法的采用减少了函数式语言的惰性语义所带来的开销,并且在并行性开发中引入惰性计值的思想在保证充分利用系统中的并行处理能力的同时,基于THREAD的惰性进程生成法减少了一些不必要的并行性开发所带来的开销.双向链表的栈模型亦对并行进程的实现效率有较大的提高,原型系统的测试显示系统具有较高的执行效率.
