A method of hardware control for a missile controller system designed by VHDL is studied. In this paper, the flexibility of VHDL and the characteristic of reprogramming in the static state and programming in the dynamic state for programmable logic were well made use of, which allowed the hardware to be designed by programming just like the software. Through results of the hardware in the loop simulation system, it was shown that the performance of the hardware controller was stable, and the design requests satisfied.
