We have to pay a great attention to it, otherwise it is very difficult to keep the steam turbines operatingsafely for a long term.The stress relaxation characteristic of 25Cr2Mo1V and 20Cr1Mo1VNbTiB steels for the studs is analyzed, and the method with which the allowable stress is calculated correctly is introduced in detail.This paper is provided for those engineers who are engaged in the design, the study of materials, the processing and the installation of the steam turbine.

In the present paper after they make a brief introduction of the geostationary communication satellite and a survey of its usages in the United States, the Soviet Union and China, the authors expound why and how the azimuth of the receiver and the angle of elevation of the aerial are to be calculated. In their further discussion, examples for calculation are given to illustrate theory combined with practice, with the intention of helping the technical engineers and readers in this field.
