The E aug neurons and I E neurons were 75 9% of the recorded neurons in the vmNF,and were believed to be important in the mechanism of the inspiratory off switch.

To explore the respiratory neurons in the pre Botzinger comlex(pre Bot.C)through extracellularly recording the patterns of neuronal activity in this restricted region,experiments were performed on 50 urethane anesthetized,vagotomized,paralyzed and artificially ventilated adult rabbits.The results were as follows:①From extracellular recording,we verified the existence of a well defined zone with a distinct profile of neuronal activities between the rostral Botzinger complex containing expiratory neurons and the more caudal pool of inspiratory neurons of the ventral respiratory group(VRG) in the para ambigual region.This zone corresponds to the pre Bot.C. It was characterized by a concentration of various types of respiratory neurons, including early inspiratory neruon,inspiratory augmenting neuron, late inspiratory,psot inspiratory neuron,expiratory augmenting neuron,pre inspiratory neuron,and inspiratory expiratory phase spanning neuron.Pre inspiratory neurons were divided into two types.②The respiratory neurons in the pre Bot.C were not antidromatically activated by stimulations at the C 3 spinal cord and cervical vagal nerve.The above results suggest that the pre Bot.C is a specialized subregion of the VRG,which contains all classes of propriobulbar neurons and is postulated to be involved in respiratory rhythm generation.[

通过细胞外记录探测成年家兔前包氏复合体 ( pre- B t.C)分布。实验在 50只氨基甲酸乙酯麻醉的成年健康家兔上进行。结果如下 :1细胞外记录表明腹侧呼吸组 ( VRG)嘴侧含有 3类不同的呼吸神经元群 ,嘴尾方向依次是 E- aug神经元群 ( B t.C)、混合神经元群 ( pre- B t.C)、I- aug神经元群。根据神经元放电模式及与膈神经放电的时相关系将 pre- B t.C的呼吸神经元分为 7类 :早吸气神经元、吸气递增神经元、晚吸气神经元、后吸气神经元、呼气递增神经元、前吸气神经元及吸气 -呼气跨时相神经元。前吸气神经元分为两型 ,以 型为主。 2 pre- B t.C呼吸神经元不能被电刺激颈髓 C3 节段及颈迷走神经所逆行兴奋 ,表明 pre- B t.C呼吸神经元为延髓固有神经元。结果显示 ,成年家兔 pre- B t.C位于 VRG嘴侧呼气递增神经元群 ( B t.C)与吸气递增神经元群之间的过渡区域 ,含有与呼吸节律发起有关的各类延髓固有呼吸神经元。
