The force characteristics of the bit body were investigated, and its static and dynamic stresses were measured. The measured results shows that the damage of the bit body was mainly caused by tangential stress. The basis was provided for correct selecting the steel types of the bit body and working out reasonable technology according to this conclusion.

The effect of gas pressure from explosion on the dynamic stress field formedaround a borehole was investigated with the dynamic photoelastic method.Thecharges were loaded respectively into an centre borehole of two models.In one ofthe models,the charge was put into an open borehole,and in the other model,the charge was put into a sealed container.A multiple-spark dynamic photoelasticapparatus was used to record the propogation of dilatational and shear waves andextension of cracks and fissures.Some important conclusions relevant to theboosting effect of explosion pressure are as follows:1.The amplitude of dilatational wave produced by sealed charge almost doublesthat produced by unsealed charge and the width of the pulse is also increased.2.The maximum radial displacement produced by sealed charge is 2—3.5-foldover the unsealed charge.The absolute values of maximum radial and tangentialstrain of the sealed charge is about 2.5-fold over the unsealed charge.And theabsolute values of maximum radial and tangential stresses are approximately2-fold over that of the unsealed charge.3.The ratio of |σ_r|_(max) to|σ_θ|_(max) in the compression phase of incidence P waveis the same,no matter weather the charge is sealed or not.4.The average length of radial cracks and fissures around the borehole withthe sealed charge is about 8/3-fold over that with unsealed charge.

本文从实验资料和理论分析两个方面,对目前国内已出版的有关“岩体力学”和“矿山压力”论著中普遍引用的巷道周围岩体内应力分布曲线形态”进行质疑。提出了在巷道周围岩体内“两带”(弹性带和塑性带)交界处切向应力不连续(即存在一个“跳跃”)的观点。进一步指出了目前通用的“破裂带范围计算方法”缺乏理论依据。文中还对不同岩石条件下,“两带”交界处切向应力差值的大小作了初步分析。
