Lygus lucorum and geometrid and tortricid larvae were also attacked. Changes of the spider populations were attributed mainly to fluctuation of the pest populations, pesticide application, cultural practices and climatic factors.
The precision pesticide application system was briefly introduced, which could reduce the impact of pesticides on environments, increase the ecosystem sustainability, and protect the operators.
The pollutants are mainly from the deposition of polluted atmosphere, the irrigation of wastewater, the dumping of industrial waste and city garbage, and the application of pesticide, which destroy soil system, and soil pollution is very harmful to the human health.
These techniques could reducing the times of spraying pesticides by 1-2 times, reduced controlling costs 24.6%-50.2% and increase the profit of 306.2-414.5 Yuan/667m~2 as compared with traditional planting model.
Photolysis was one of the main degradation approaches of pesticides in environment. Photo-stability had a direct influence on the effectiveness and persistency of pesticides.
Photooxidation was one of the main degradation approaches of pesticides in environment. Photo-stability had a direct influence on the effectiveness and persistent of pesticides.
The feeding rate of the insects was also affected by the pesticide application, but the effect varied between nymphal age and time after application and lasted no longer than 15?d.
We wondered if foods made from organically-reared plants might have a higher content of salicylic acid than those made from non-organic plants, since the latter are more likely to be protected from infection by the application of pesticides.
The Motax 33, a portable air-assisted controlled droplet application (CDA) sprayer, offers a new approach to the application of pesticides within coffee and other bush crops.
Principal-component analysis enabled investigation of the spatial and temporal distribution of the main pollution patterns caused by application of pesticides in the region under study.
Organic solvents have been used as an aid in the application of pesticides and other agricultural chemicals to soil, in studying the effects of these chemicals on denitrification in soil.
There was limited evidence that the application of pesticides promoted the development of blue-green algal populations in the absence of readily available N.
In China the researches on the insect-resistant breeding of rice began in 1970's. Thanks to the cooperative efforts of the rice breeders and the entomologists, more than ten tho usand kinds of genetic sources have been identified and many valuable genetic sources resistant to Nilaparvata lugens, Sogatella furcifera, Chilo suppressalis, and Cnaphalocrosis medinalis have been discovered. Therefore some insect-resistant varieties have been developed, such as Hsien rice: Zheli 1, Xiangzhao xian 3, Aimeizhao, Aih...
~(14)C tracer analysis and gas chromatography were used to study the residual and degradation characteristic of triadimefon in wheat and soil. It turns out that triadimefon vanishes fast from wheat and soil. Its residual halfvalue period is from 4.9 to 6.4 days. Main form in residue is its metabo-lite triadimenol. For its safe use in wheat, we suggest that customary dose to be 10g/mu (active principle), and that safe interval period to be 20 days.
The toxicity of As varies with its form and valeuce, its toxic order is A8H3> A. ( 111 )>A5 ( V )>organic As. Although the toxicity of organic As is less than that of inorganic As, half or 1/3 of total As in the soils applied with pesticide are organic As. In order to assess properly the environmental pollution caused by As, it is necessary to determine the amount of total As, inorganic As and organic As in the environment. Organic As was determined by the differences between total As and inorganic As in th...
