Whether the molecular genetic basis of the low temperature endurance in the mud carp is similar to any one of the other fish's adaptative mechanism or not remains a question for further research. Nevertheless, this question should be an excellent research subject in physiological and biochemical genetics of fish.When the problem of genetic mechanism and molecular basis of low temperature endurance in fish is thoroughly solved, the technique of genetic engineering for improving low temperature endurance in some warm water fishes would get its reliable theoretical basis and the effective scheme for this genetic improvement could be established. However,selective cross breeding is still an effective scheme for genetic improvement at present. The defects of long breeding period and a large number of fishponds required for this scheme would be improved by means of quick establishment of the pure lines through asexual reproduction and distinguishing different parental lines that are cultured in the same pond with phenotypic biochemical markers.

本文介绍用杂交选育方法改良鲮鱼(Cirrhinus molitorella)耐低温能力的试验经过和已取得的进展。同时,分析讨论了杂交后代(一代和二代)性状遗传的某些结果。对鱼类低温适应和抗冻、抗寒等方面的研究进展作了介绍和讨论,并认为只有把鱼类耐低温性状遗传的分子机理彻底阐明,人们才有可能直接利用基因工程技术定向地改良像鲮鱼等不耐寒物种的抗寒性能。此外,我们也对如何改进鱼类杂交选育的技术措施提出一些意见。

This new line is of high quality i.e. the low erucicacid content and high total content of oleic acid(18:1) and linoleicacid (18:2) in oil 2.68 times than that of common varieties. A new line named 609 with low erucic acid content, characterizedby semiwinter type and early middle maturity, was developed throughsystematical breeding and directed improvement. It has passed districtexperiment and production test. Its planting areas have reached morethan 50,000 mu so far. This new line is of high quality i.e. the low erucicacid content and high total content of oleic acid(18:1) and linoleicacid (18:2) in oil 2.68 times than that of common varieties. Due toits high-yield and earlier maturity, it is suitable for such areas with twoor three crops a year as the south of the Changjiang River in Anhuiand the south Anhui. It becomes the first variety with low erucic acidcontent popularized in the south main rapeseed producing areas in ourprovince, showing better economic and social benefit as well as popula-rizing potential.

滆湖位于江苏南部,面积为164km~2,是一个典型的草型湖泊,其中80X以上的面积为黄丝草(Pataraogeton maackianus)所覆盖。针对该湖水生植被中草食性鱼类喜食性水草资源逐渐衰竭,非喜食性水草群落逐渐扩张的状况,1988—1990年,进行了湖泊水草群落的定向改良试验和抑制相关水草发生和蔓延的试验。结果表明,采用生物防治,以鱼除草,无论是网拦放牧式除草技术,还是网围养殖式除草技术,对各种沉水植物都可彻底清除,而且直接将水草转化为鱼产品,并且有利于湖泊水域生态环境的改善。
