Besides X-ray film and 120 film, the enlarging paper may be used as sensitive material, and the images could be formed by direct exposure at the dark condition. Developing process in dark room could be ommited. So it is not only rapid, accurate, but also economical. Nevertheless, the exposure time should be appropriately prolonged. For seeds of pinus silvestris var. mongolica, the structural potentiality (AP value, potential germination capacity) calculated by formulation on the basis frequencices of different classes of development on the X-ray photographs and the classified germination percentage to be measured is very similar to the actual germination percentage.For the samara of Acer negundo, the successful photograph of the dynamic states of the seed development by soft X-ray apparatus have also been obtained.After being impregnated in BaCl_2 solution (20%) as a contrasting agent for 24 hours, the seeds of Acer negundo was photographed by X-ray. It obviously showed that it is dark on the negative and light on the positive.We also obtained satisfactory results to the seed quality of larix gmelinii, Picea koraiensis, Pinus tabulaeformis, P. koraiensis, P. pumila, Juniperus rigida, Jilia amurensis, J. mandshurica by soft X-ray apparatus.

国产HY-35型农用软X光机检验林木种子品质效果良好。感光材料除用X光胶片、120胶片外可用放大纸在黑暗条件下,直接照射一次成像,减少了第二次暗室印象程序,快速、准确且经济,但曝光时间应适当加长。樟子松(Pinus sylvestris var mongolica Litv)种子,根据图片上的发育级频率及测定的归约系数按公式计算结构潜力(AP值,即潜在发芽能力)与实际发芽率极为近似。 用软X光机拍摄种子发育动态时糖槭(Acer negundo)翅果获得了成功的照片。 用BaCl_2作衬比剂20%浓度溶液、浸泡糖槭种子24h后拍片,明显地反映出种子生活力低的负片上色深、正片上色浅。 我们还对兴安落叶松、红皮云杉、油松、紫椴、糠椴、杜松、偃松等种子用软X光机进行品质检验获得了良好的结果。

The dried seeds are radiographed under the following conditions: kV=20, mA=4, exposure time=100 seconds, focus-film-distance=25cm. The unimpregnated full seed is considered as viable seed for calculating germinability. The germinability (X) of 35 seed samples is in accordance with the germination percent (Y). Their relationship is Y=-10.2+1.11X, r=0.98.

A seed with fully developed endosperm and embryo free of impregnation was considered as viable seed, Ger-minability could be thus calculated as ratio of the number of viable seeds to the total number of seeds in a sample. The germinabilities (X) of 34 Chinese fir seed lots evaluated by X-ray contrast method were very close to their germination percents (7) by the standard method. The relationship is Y=-1. 5 + 0. 998X(r=0. 97).

本研究发现,碘化钾是杉木种子衬比射线检验的最佳衬比剂;衬比过程是:杉木种子在自来水中浸泡16h;吸干种子表面水分,在40%的碘化钾溶液中处理2 h;在流水中冲洗5~6min后在70℃下干燥4h。研究结果表明,胚和胚乳(雌配子体)发育良好且未被碘化钾浸渗的种子都有生活力。用X射线衬比法测定的34份杉木种子发芽能力(X),同它们的实际发芽率(Y)相当一致。它们的关系是Y=-1.5+0.998X,r=0.97。
