sedimentation experiment for several flotation tailings taken place; better performance of flocculation sedimentation arrived at such conditions as: stirring speed 300-400rpm,ratio of dried coal to PAM 10000∶1,PAM with higher molecular weight,and concentration of slime water 50-60g/L.
A process consisting of lignin floatation by submerged combustion,silicon removal by flocculation and filtration by soft filler and cinder was used for the treatment and study of the waste water from paper mills using straw pulp as raw material,with the following optimum process conditions determined:the pH value of floatation lignin was 3 and the pH value of flocculation sedimentation was 9～10.All indexes reached the state discharging standard.
