An observation was made on the reproduction performances of 197 white muscovy ducks which were hatched from four batches of eggs at separ- ate times but fed and managed under the same condition.The results of the observation indicate that the average egg-production-commencing age of white muscovy ducks is 164 days,the average annual egg yield is 110.Accord- ing to the biostatistical analysis,the egg-production-commencing age is of negative correlation with the egg yield of the first three months(r=-0.22), while the latter is of strong positive correlation with the annual egg yield (r=0.827~(***)).The amount of sequent-egg-production in the egg production cycle varies widely(6—41 eggs),but the most common range is between 10 and 20 eggs(65.70%).The amount range is of the first sequent-egg- production is of positive correlation with the annual egg yield Therefore,the amount of the first-sequent-production in the egg production cycle and the egg yield of the first three months can be used as a basis for the early selection of breeding ducks. The male duck at 7—9 months of age seemed to have the greatest breeding capacity.As the male/female ratio was 1:6—10,the fertility rate ranged 94.6—75.9%.The best male/female ratio was 1:6,at which the fertiliy rate could reach 93.5%.Thus the sexual activity is closely related to the age:as the age of the male ducks increased,the breeding capacity decreased.In practising reproduction program by means of same breed breading or hybridization,a higher fertility rate could be obtained so long as the breeding age and male/female ratio are properly controlled.

With the interrupted development of new varieties,the effective use of the CP varieties as parents and the rapid extension of improved varieties such as Yuetang 63/237,“The Taitang 134 Age”,at which Taitang 134 was a predominant variety,has been over on the whole.But,there are the following obvious problems existing currently in our sugarcane breeding: sugarcane as parents has not flowered normally for years on end at Hainan Sugarcane Breeding Station;there are few available excellent parents;the blood relationship between crossing parents is close;the speed of spreading new developed varieties is slow.

本文主要是对近十年,本所的甘蔗新品种选育和广东省的甘蔗良种推广工作作一个评述,对良种工作的变化发展,所取得的成就予以肯定,对存在问题提出一些看法、意见及建议。新品种的不断育成,“新一代”CP 品种作亲本的有效利用,随着粤糖63—237等良种的迅速推广,“台糖134时代”已基本宣告结束。但是,海南甘蔗育种场连续几年亲本开花不正常,可用的优良亲本不多,且亲缘关系狭窄,新育成品种繁殖推广缓慢,这些都是当前我们甘蔗良种工作上较突出的问题。

Among them the percentage of P. parasitica was the highest. Therefore, in this paper, the P. parasitica was used as a represent species of phytophthora for Studing infect and potential period as well as rule of occurrence and epidemics of foot rot in field. The epidemic of pathogen was by means of rainfall and the infection was by the wound or the on the tree body. Their-latent period was by 2-6 days. The occurrence of this disease had a positive correlation wtth ihe level of earth temperature and rainfall. The diseace incidence and index were related closely with the age, species, propagation mode, soil texture and topopraph, ets. These were discussed for integrated control in citrus orchards.

研究证明,柑桔脚腐病是疫霉属(Phyto Phthora)寄生疫霉P.Parasitica、柑桔褐腐疫霉P.Citro Phthora、棕榈疫霉P.Palmivora、恶疫霉P.Cactorum、甜瓜疫霉P.melonis等为害所致,其中以寄生疫霉所占比例最大。本文以寄生疫霉为代表种,研究了疫霉菌的侵染途径和潜育期,以及该病在田间的发病规律和发病诱因。病菌靠雨水传播,从树对体伤口及自然乱口侵入,潜育期2~6天。发病与地温高低和雨量多少呈正相关,发病轻重与树龄、品种、繁殖方式、土壤、地势等多种因素密切相关。
