A survey of Echinococcus species in wild animals was carried out in Qinghai Province. Pseudois nayaur , and Procapra picticaudata were discovered for the first time to be the intermediate hosts of Echinococcus species in the Qing Zang plateau, showing infection rates of 6.4% and 6.6%, respectively. The evidence of Echinococcus parasitism was supplemented by histopathological and immunological examinations. Considering the geographical distribution and environmental conditions of habitats where the above wild animals live, presumption is made that there exists a cycle of Echinococcus species in the wild lives either irrespective of or mixed with the cycle among domestic animals. The survey provides a clue to the exploration of natural nidi of Echinococcus species in Qinghai and important epidemiological data regarding animal Echinococcus infection as well.

为进一步摸清全省包虫病的分布和流行趋势,我们自1986年以来对野生动物资源丰富的青海高原野生动物群体中的棘球绦虫感染作了初步调查研究。本文首次发现与证实青藏高原特有的野生食草动物中的岩羊(Pseudoisnayaur)和藏原羚(Procaprapicticaudata)为棘球属绦虫的中间宿主动物,其感染率分别为6.4%(21/327)和6.6%(13/198),并应用寄生虫病理组织学和免疫学等方法检测认定为棘球蚴感染。根据这2种野生食草动物在青藏高原栖息分布的生态地理环境条件,很可能存在一种不依赖家畜群而独立于野生动物群体间的棘球绦虫生活循环链或有家畜参加的混合生活循环链。本次调查结果既填补了棘球属绦虫宿主动物的国内、外空白,又为进一步开展青藏高原包虫病自然疫源性研究提供了重要线索,亦为深入探讨其在动物流行病学中的地位和作用提供了重要科学资料,有益于制定控制规划。

An investigation on infections of echinococcus in domestic and wild animals had been carried out in three different geographical zones including south Qinghai Plateau, Qilian Mountain area and Hehuang Valley, and Caidamu Basin in Qinghai Province from 1992 to 1999. The results showed that the definitive hosts, including dogs, wolve(Canis lupus), Zang foxes (Vulpes ferrilata) and cats, not only had been infected by Echinococcus granulosus in their intestine, and also the dogs and Zang foxes had been infected...

An investigation on infections of echinococcus in domestic and wild animals had been carried out in three different geographical zones including south Qinghai Plateau, Qilian Mountain area and Hehuang Valley, and Caidamu Basin in Qinghai Province from 1992 to 1999. The results showed that the definitive hosts, including dogs, wolve(Canis lupus), Zang foxes (Vulpes ferrilata) and cats, not only had been infected by Echinococcus granulosus in their intestine, and also the dogs and Zang foxes had been infected by Echinococcus multilocularis. The domestic intermediate hosts, including Zang sheep, yaks, goats and pigs had been infected by larva of Echinococcus granulosus; and larva of Echinococcus multilocularis also had been found in their liver and lung of wildlife intermediate hosts including Ochotona curzoniae, Lepus oiostolus and Cricetulus migratorius. It indicated that the kinds of hosts of echinococcus be various in Qinghai Province and the infective rates of echionococcus in the main difinitive host (dogs) and in the main intermediate hosts (Zang sheep, yaks) be the highest in the world. It suggested that the life cycle of Echinococcus granulosus existed between the domestic and wildlife carnivores and the domestic and wildlife herbivores, and the life cycle of Echinococcus multilocularis also had been found between the domestic and wildlife carnivores and the wildlife rodents in the three different zones in Qinghai Province.

:1992~ 1999年分别对青海青南高原区、祁连山地和河湟谷地区及柴达木盆地三个不同地形区的家养动物和野生动物棘球绦虫的感染进行了调查研究 ,结果在终宿主动物犬、狼、狐和猫的小肠内发现细粒棘球绦虫感染 ,也在犬和狐小肠中证实存在多房棘球绦虫感染。在 4种家养的中间宿主动物绵羊、牦牛、山羊和猪体内发现细粒棘球蚴的感染 ,也在黑唇鼠兔、灰尾兔和灰仓鼠 3种野生的中间宿主动物证实存在泡球蚴的感染。显示青海两种棘球绦虫的宿主动物种类较多 ,且主要终宿主 (犬 )和中间宿主 (绵羊、牦牛 )的棘球绦虫和棘球蚴的感染率都很高。提示青海三个不同地形区内均存在细粒棘球绦虫的家养和野生食肉动物 /家养或野生食草动物之间的生活史循环链和多房棘球绦虫的家养和野生食肉动物 /野生啮齿类动物之间的生活史循环链。
