A method for the determination of 12 sulfonamides(SAs)(sulfanilamide,sulfamonomethoxine,sulfacetamide,sulfamethoxazole,sulfadiazine,sulfisoxazole,sulfathiazole,sulfadimethoxine,sulfamerazine,sulfaquinoxaline,sulfamethazine,sulfanitran) in cosmetics was developed by ultra performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detector(UPLC-PDA).
It describes the optimum conditions in relation to the determination. The method shows a recovery ratio of 95 percent, a relative standard devia- tion of 0.5 percent, and a linear range of 0.01-20 ppm.
The linear equation is A = 0. 838c + 0. 003 with the correlative coefficient of 0.99994. By the determination of solid and liquid samples, the recoveries of As are 98.3% ~98. 7% , and RSD are 0.65%~1.50% .

A PVC membrane Brilliant Blue FCF chemical sensor was prepared from PVC film containing THDA + . Brilliant Blueion associate. The sensor shows a Nernstain response in 5.0 × 10-2~1.0 × 10-4 mol/L Brilliant Blue FCF solution over pH 5~10 with a slope of 20.7 mv decade. Most of food additives do not affected the sensor's functions.
