This paper analyzes the operation principle and control strategies of single-phase Resonant DC Link Inverters (RDCLI), which is a new kind of resonant converter topology. With the help of a digital computer,a 1kW RDCLI is analyzed in a wide range of loads to understand its performance characteristics. Three control strategies are discussed and compared in details. In the Hysitresis Current Pulse-Modulation (HCPM) method,since +1, - 1 and 0 states may be freely chosen, a current error band is employed to select the freewheeling state. The results show this method leads to a good dynamic response. In the other two kinds of control strategies, there are certain demerits. Only +1 and -1 states can be chosen in the current regulated delta modulation (CRAM) while only +1 and 0 states in the positive half cycle of the output voltage may be selected in Optimum Pulsemodulation (OPM) and - 1 and 0 states in the negative half cycle. Conclusion is drawn that HCPM is suitable for this new kind of inverter. Simulation and experimental waveforms are also presented in this paper.

本文分析了一种新型谐振变换器拓扑—谐振直流环节逆变器(RDCLI)的单相逆变器的工作原理和控制方法,利用计算机数字仿真得到了额定容量为1kW的逆变器在阻性、感性和容性负载下的各种动、静态特性波形。文中比较了三种不同的电流内环控制方案。由于滞环控制的脉冲调节方案可以自由地选择开关模态,即可以选择0,+1和-1模态,使输出电压能够很好地跟踪给定电压信号。而CR△M方案只能选择-1和+1模态。优化脉冲调节方案在输出电压的正半周和负半周分别只能选择+1和0或-1和0模态,其动态响应性能不好。仿真结果表明,滞环控制的脉冲调节方案适用于RDCLI。实验波形验证了数字仿真结果的正确性。本文为构成这种谐振逆变器提供了设计、分析基础。

It drives all three-phase currents in right direction at all times and is good in dynamic response, but poor in harmonic characteristics owing to the absence of zero state. Three kinds of current regulator are presented for three-phase resonant dc link inverters (RDCLI) in this paper. The current regulated delta modulator (CRAM) is a zero hysteresis switching regulator. It drives all three-phase currents in right direction at all times and is good in dynamic response, but poor in harmonic characteristics owing to the absence of zero state. The adjacent state current modulator (ASCM) switches between adjacent switching states and the zero state. It is better in harmonic characteristic but not satisfactory in dynamic response. The hysteresis controlled current modulator (HCCM) se-lects the switching states,including the zero state,according to the actual condition,and both the dynamic response and harmonic characteristics are satisfactory. Therefor HCCM is suited for three-phase RDCLI. The simulation waveforms are given in this paper,so are the comparison of output voltage and its harmonic characteristics under the three kinds of current modulator.

本文针对三相谐振直流环节逆变器提出了三种电流调节方案,并对这三种调节方案进行了分析比较。电流调节△调制方案是零滞环的,它使得三相电流总是流向正确的方向,具有良好的动态特性,但谐波特性较差;相邻模态电流调制方案使逆变器在相邻的开关模态或零开关模态之间进行切换,谐波特性很好,动态特性不够好,而滞环控制电流调制器根据逆变器的实际情况选择开关模态(包括零模态),具有良好的动态特性和谐波特性,适用于三相谐振直流环节逆变器。文中给出了三种方案下的仿真波形,仿真结果的比较也于文后给出。

The inverter e liminates the neutral forming transformer by adding a bridge leg to form neutral point to provide balanced volt ages to any kinds of three phase loads. The principle of the inverter is analyzed, and a new current regulator, which chooses switching modes according to the maximum current error of filter inductance current and the ref erence current is proposed. The modified voltage regulator on the basis of PI regulator is proposed to eliminate output voltage static error under any load conditions.

提出了一种新型的三相四线逆变器,它有四个桥臂,第四个桥臂用来构成中点,从而省去了三相三桥臂逆变器中的中点形成变压器,减小了逆变器的体积和重量。针对这种逆变器,本文提出了一种电流调节器,它根据三相滤波电感电流和给定电流的误差值最大的那相选择逆变器的开关模态。为了消除输出相电压的静态误差,本文讨论了一种基于PI调节器改进的电压调节方案。仿真结果表明,本文的思路是可行的。本文为构造大功率、高效率的三相四线逆变器提供了可靠的理论基础。
