Abstract Based on analysis to various electric furnace's restraint, the paper puts for ward decision formula of equipment reactance restraint. The reactance restraint type of furnace should take method of operation to make molten pool power and active power maximum. The paper also gives the relective calculating formula of current and power. and affords basis for designing electric furnace parameters.
