By using the ST-1 catalyst at the following conditions i. e. pressure 2×10~6Pa, temperature 110℃, residence time of liquid 83. 4 minutes and gas-liquid ratio 4~3. 5, the yield of cyclododecane is more than 99%. The hydrogenated product can be directly used in the next process of oxidation. The catalyst was tested continuously for about 500 hrs, and the result shows that its activity and selectivity have remained the same, and the catalyst can be applied to industrial production in the near future.
