In the course of matching a combustion system of a high speed D.I. diesel, the pe-netrtion of the fuel jet into stationary medium was measured.Then the equations to ca-lculate pentration from different sources were reviewed and applied. The results agreequite well with measured values for the period after around 2 ms, but deviate obvious-y eat around 1 ms, that is the usual value of ignition delay in auto-diesel. This maybe due to the quasi-steady assumption of those equations. A simple method was developed...

This maybe due to the quasi-steady assumption of those equations. A simple method was developed taking into consideration the unsteady feature atnjection beginning. The calculation results agree very well for the first 2 ms. It isbased on the first part of the injection rate diagram, which may be measured or predi-ted quite accurately with injection simulating program.

Experiment and research on the idle stability of the high-speed direct injec- tion diesel engine controlled by a micro processor show that n-Q characteristic and the transition characteristic of the fuel injection system have greater in- fluences on the idle speed stability.Digital control electronic governor can im- prove the idle speed characteristic of the high-speed direct injection diesel en- gine.

对利用微机控制的高速直喷式柴油机的怠速稳定性进行了试验研究。结果表明,n—Q 特性和燃料喷射系的过渡特性对发动机的怠速稳定性都有较大影响。数控电子调速器可改善高速直喷柴油机的怠速特性。
