Actual operation shows that using the rotary coder in the rotating angle digit process control system can bring about such advantages as accurate positioning, easy setting ,and safe and consistent operation.
On thebasisofspeed control with PLC and transducer,this paper forms a positionfeedbackma king use of pulse signal gained from the rotary coder and realizes the accurate displacement control of elevator.
Based on the bus technology of Profibus-DP, one kinds of the reservoir gate monitoring and control system is developed, the system is consisted with the PLC of S7-300 series as the core, and with one rotating coder acts as a feedback unit by detecting gate' s displacement, the touching screen as the interface between man and the system.
In this system the position of the gate's displacement is measured by a rotating coder which provides a Profibus-DP interface,and the reliability is enhanced. The communication program is listed.
