In this paper, application of principle of remote sensing to earthquake prediction is studied and an experiment was made,the experiment has obtained the infrared radiant characteristic and the radiant temperature of rock varying with the stress of rock,the variational order of radiance 10-5(W/cm2. sr. μm) ,the variational quantity of the radiant temperature 0. 2℃-0. 8℃ ,and some significant precursor information was discovered.
