The vegetation condition during the early stage of MIS 3 was better than that of the late stage of MIS 3,but not as good as that of today,which demonstrated that the Episode of Strengthened Summer Monsoon had weak or no influence on Xishan Mountain of Beijing.
Upstream Fenhe River the basin,took a loess plateau ecology frail area independent basin unit,is the Taiyuan only water source self-control and supplies the water district,does its forest vegetation condition quality,whether affect directly to its itself ecology is safe and affects to the Fenhe River basin big city ecology barrier normally displays.
The ana- lysing results show that the effecting extent of nine factors to environ- ment worsenning of the watershed,soil and water loss and poorness of economy could be lined as,condition of land utilization>soil texture> climatic condition>vegetation condition>animal resource>resoure of labour power>culture and education>geomorphorlogical type>geological tectonic.
The results indicate that the effects on surface runoff coefficient by the parameters of vegetation status is herb layer coverage(0.772 0)> litter layer thickness(0.744 5) > shrub layer coverage(0.666 1)> canopy density(0.614 2).
The research results showed that the vegetation status have changed obviously since carrying out the project,the coverage rate of vegetation raised from 86.50% to 98.04%,increased by 11.54%,which also showed that the environment develops toward reversion direction.
The Wanchanggou small watershed of the upper reaches of the Jialingjiang River as object of research, using mass primacy data of long orientation observation and investigation on the plot, exerting linear regression power function regression index regression logarithm regression and multiple illinear regression and so on, researching the relation of the amount of soil erosion on unit area and the factor of soil erosion and the relation of sediment yield and vegetation status, and comparing effect of water and soil conservation of different vegetation types.
Results show that the areas of good situation,better situation and general situation of vegetations have been increased,and the change areas are 906.39 km2,593.67 km2,384.13 km2 respectively,the areas of worse and worst situation of vegetation have been decreased,and the change areas are 192.54 km2,348.03 km2 respectively.

In this paper the ecological factors, which effect the distribution of vegetation, based on the data of seventy-one meteorological stations in Jiangsu were analyzed, and comparison was made with the thermal index's distribution of seven everygreen broad-leaf tree species and the present natural vegetation. Basing upon the isopleths of CI-3.0 (℃. M.) and-5.0 (℃. M.) the limits of the mid-subtropical and North-subtropical or the warm temperate vegetation were divided.
