Recognition of point-shaped map symbol based on shape analysis is expounded in this paper. The computer description) structure of recognition system, experiment and analysis of recognition of point-shaped map symbol etc. are discussed as principal research contents. A traditional border tracking algorithm is improved using a new method with a criterion to control search. And describing shape feature of point-shaped map symbol by using fourier coefficient is proposed. The calculation formula is further ameliorated also. How to extract shape feature invariant from fourier coefficient to realize recognition of point-shaped map symbol automatically is introduced.

着重讨论了基于形状分析的点状地图符号识别。其主要内容包括点状地图符号的计算机描述,点状地图符号识别系统的结构,点状地图符号识别实验与分析等。文中利用带搜索控制准则的新边界跟踪算法,改进了传统的边界跟踪算法,提出了用傅立叶系数描述点状地图符号的形状特征,并对计算公式作了进一步改进,介绍如何由傅立叶系数提取形状特征不变量,实现了对点状地图符号的自动识别。

In this article,we described a five_step process for numeric annotation abstraction and practical arithmetic for each step:1) Get contour shape pixels from map.2) Trace the pixels and connect them in the form of link_code.3) By improved Dichotomy vector generating arithmetic,express the link_code contour shape into vector form.4) Decompose the contour shape vector into segments.5) Abstract annotation from char segments. As emphasis,we described the arithmetic of contour shape expression and decomposition.We presented a contour shape decomposing arithmetic according to the complex degree calculate from curvature and one time difference of contour shape,which can distinguish character segment from general segment.Because different figures have different complex degrees,by defining and calculating the complex degrees of each contour shape,we divided the contour shape lines segments into two classes: character segments and general line segments.We used such division to abstract the numeric annotations from topographic maps.We also presented an improved Dichotomy vector expression,which can balance the quality and cost requirement. At the end of this article,we presented the result of experiment.It proved that the process and arithmetic described above is practical and efficient.

针对地形图中图线与注记字符分离的问题 ,本文提出了基于轮廓的形状分析来提取组成地形图注记基元的方法 ,克服了字线粘连造成的分离困难 ,提高了所提取注记信息的完整性。提取的结果为地形图中注记的进一步识别提供了依据。

Based on the research on image knowledge repository, image database, texture analysis, shape analysis, this paper proposed a new method of feature extraction from remote sensing image based on knowledge. By extracting the texture characters and shape characters, reasoning according to the prior knowledge in the knowledge repository, this method can identify and extract features from remote sensing images.

通过对图像知识库、图像数据库、纹理分析和形状分析等技术的研究,提出了一种基于知识的遥感图像地物提取的方法。该方法提取图像的纹理特征和形状特征,根据知识库中的先验知识进行推理,实现了遥感图像地物的判别和提取。
