Abstract Many of the ferrocement coasters built during the past two decades in China are operating among the small shallow-water ports. After entering the port on the flow, the ship may have to ground on beach when loading and unloading. A most severe condition will arise when the ship lies on a hump or astride a large pit the cargo weight in the holds and the reaction forces from ground would be likely to produce serious deformation of the hull and cause damage. In this paper, an approach is introduced for analysing the strength of the hull to ensure the safety of such grounding ships. Two programmes have been worked out for calculating longitudinal strength of hull and local strength of bottom structures in way of a cargo hold, where the ship's hull is regarded as a beam rested on elastic base and the hold structures are analysed by space-beam system. It is supposed that super-position of the calculated longitudinal and local stresses be accepted. Although micro-crackings are usually in existence, ferrocement is treated as elastic and homogeneous material when deformation is small. However, redistribution of internal forces should be considered in calculating ultimate carrying capacities of structural members. The calculating methods and criteria adopted regarding ferrocement hull plating and reinforced beams (floors, frames, etc.) are those commonly used in Chinese practice. To verify the adoptability of the analysing approach, a typical coaster of 105-ton cargo deadweight was tested in a dry dock by exerting external forces through hydraulic jacks located on 16-keel blocks and controlled by electronic weighing meters to simulate the loads of hold cargo and ship's weight in several grounding conditions. The strains on the surfaces of ferrocement plating and internal reinforcing rods are picked up by sound-string tansducers and strain gauges. The difference between analytical calculation and experimental result is comparatively small. Furthermore, by using the approach, the authors put forward three limits for grounding conditions as follows: 1. Maximum length at midship portion without ground support, but with full cargo load. 2. Maximum cargo load in the centre hold without support under entire hold length. 3. Maximum lengths of ship ends without support, but with full cargo load in the centre hold. A conclusion has been drown by comparing the limits with those obtained from experience that the coaster with stands the grounding forces very well.

航行于浙江沿海的小型钢丝网水泥货轮在趁潮进泊小港以后,往往需要在搁滩的情况下装卸货物,这就有可能使船体产生严重变形,甚至损坏.本文介绍了分析船体搁滩强度的方法,并提出控制要求,以保证船舶安全.作者分别按弹性基础梁和对货舱舱段采用空间梁系编制纵强度和局部强度的计算程序,分别计算并认为适用迭加原理.求出船舶在搁滩状况和满载情况下船体中部容许脱空(未搁着)的最大长度以及两端悬空的最大长度,再将此直与过去积累的地面资料相比较,从而判断搁滩强度是否足够.为验证分析处理方法的可靠性,对一艘载货量105吨的实船进行了进坞搁墩试验,用沿坞墩排列的一系列油压千斤顶加载,使船体变形,计算所施外弯矩;用音弦和电阻应变测量仪器测定构件表面及内部钢筋的变形.试验证明采用本文所用的方法分析搁滩强度是可行的.通过本文的分析方法可以说明可能出现的危险状态及首先可能破坏的危险位置,可供搁滩操作时掌握参考.经本文分析和试验验证,被测船舶的结构强度是满足搁滩要求的.

文章以一艘 1 70 0箱集装箱船为例 ,阐述了整船有限元结构分析方法。先建立全船有限元模型和质量模型 ,再用三维流体动力计算程序进行波浪随机载荷的长期预报 ,并在此基础上导出设计波参数组 ,最后 ,在全船有限元模型上计算得出船体结构在各个设计波上的应力分布和变形结果 ,所得到的船体结构有限元分析结果对同类型集装箱船的设计和强度分析有一定的参考价值 ,对其它类型的船舶结构强度分析也有一定的借鉴意义。
