METHODS:A total of 30 schizophrenic inpatients who fulfilled the third edition of the Chinese Classification and Diagnostic Criteria of Mental Disease(CCMD 3) for paranoid schizophrenia were enrolled from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College as experimental group and treated only by clozapine[max dosage 150 to 400 mg per day,mean dosage(290±70) mg per day].
Results The overall prevalence of mental disorder were 10.35‰. The point prevalence of mental disorder were 9.41‰. The prevalence of schizophrenia was 3.62‰,affective disorder(0.25‰),mental disorders caused by brain vascular diseases(0.00‰),personality disorders(1.04‰).
