According to the Chinese Soil Taxonomy (3rd edition) , the altitudinal zonation of the soils in the region consists of Udic Ferrosols ( < 500 m), Udic Argosols (500 - 1 000 m) , Perudic Argosols (1 000 - 1 500 m), and Orthic Primosols (1 500 ~ 1 900 m).
On the basis of obtained data, the high categoryclassification status of "ST (1994)", "FAO-UNESCO (1990)", and "Chinese Soil Category Classification System (1987)" were analyzed, and the high category classification reference were get accordingly.
