The distribution regularity of higher categories in Chinese soil taxonomy
      
The regularity of the distribution of higher categories in Chinese Soil Taxonomy (CST) were studied through analyzing the diagnostic horizons and characteristics and the variation of soil forming factors in China.

This paper expound the process introducing drab soil into the soil classification of China and the development and present situation of forest soil classification in the mountain regions of Beijing.Moreover,it also presented the different views on this question.

本文阐明了自50年代将褐土引入中国土壤分类系统中的经过和对该土壤进行的一系列研究.同时,也对各种不同的学术见解和目前研究工作的进展进行了叙述.
