Liu CY et al have put forward the biological information model on low intensity laser irradiation (BIML) and the biological information transformation model(BITML). According to BIML, low intensity laser irradiation couples with intracellular messenger through the chromophore absorption in the cell membrane: hotcolor(red, orange, or yellow) laser irradiation activates cAMP phosphodiesterase through Gi protein, or activates phosphoinositide phospholipase C(PLC) through Gq protein, or activates one of receptorassociated kinases:cAMP↓; coldcolor(green, blue, or violet) laser irradiation activates adenylate cyclase through Gs protein:cAMP↑. According to BITML, if the laser irradiation dose is greater than the corresponding threshold value, its function would be the function of its complementary color. In this papar, we applied the two models to discussing the relationship of laser dose and its biolpgical effects.
