This paper deals with 33 outcrop sections and drill sections in North China in detail. Depending on lithology, grain size, sedimentary structures, colors and thickness of sandbeds, the Permian (Shanxi Formation, Upper and Lower Shihezi Formations) clastic rocks were defined as 13 microfacies- lithofacies. Their mutual assemlages in vertical make up different types of lithofacies associations or sequences, each corresponding to a certain sedimentary process and environment. Therefore, ten types of lithlfaeies associations, with eight being fluvial environments were recognized and modelled.

The direct bottom and top beds of this coal are both carbonatite with the chracteristics of storm deposits. Coal grade is silty—muddy and there are any primary structures in coal thin section. The sequence of coalbed is similiar to that of carbonate storm deposits in its bottom and top beds, which consists of lag bed with plentiful of marine fossils at the bottom, wavy laminated bed with hummocky cross bedding at the middle, and horizontal laminated bed at the top. This paper dealts with the chracteristics of coal quality, coal petrographics, the types of sequences, depositional setting and forming regimes of storm allochthony coal. These studies not only find a new type of coal—forming pattern and develop the research scope of coal geology, but also are helpful to study paleoclimate, paleoenvironment and coal correlation.

河南省晚石炭世含煤地层中,存在着因风暴作用强烈侵蚀滨海泥炭沼泽,而后通过风暴回流把泥炭物质和植物遗体长距离搬运到浅海环境再沉积的风暴异地煤。这种异地煤的直接顶底板是具有风暴沉积特征的浅海碳酸盐岩.煤破碎成粉砂级—泥级,煤层原生结构已完全看不到,煤层下部为含有大量海相动物化石的滞积层,中部为具有类似丘状层理的波状层,上部为水平纹层,其层序特征几乎可与煤层直接顶底板浅海碳酸盐风暴岩类比。研究这种异地煤的沉积背景和形成机制以及这种煤层所反映出的煤质特征、煤岩特征、沉积特征、层序及层序类型特征,不仅可以开拓出一种新型异地成煤类型而扩大煤地质学的研究领域,而且有助于研究古气候、古水深和煤岩层对比等问题。

The topography of the area at the end of Pleistocene inclined from northwest towards southeast which influenced the Holocene transgression obviously.The Holocene sedimentaly sequence can be divided into the lower transgressive and the upper regressive one, consisting of bcach facies(contains estuary- bay in some part of the area), nearshore neritic facies(tidal sand body facies)and tidal flat facies etc. It is obvious that factes change horizontally. In different environment appear different sedimentary sequences. The sequence can be classified into four types, which were discussed in detail in this peper. For all the four types, the best developed area is in the southeast part of the studied area, and the worst is in the northwest.The buried tidal sand bodies can be crassified into three types: Ⅰ )near-shore tidal sand bars ;Ⅱ ) tidal sand waves;Ⅲ) near - shore tidal sand ridges. They were formed and preserved successively along with the cycle of transgression and regression, and their distribution pattern was controlled by shift of the Changjiang river towards southeast during the Holocene.

研究区全新统不整合超覆于上更新亚统之上,自下而上由滨海相(局部含河口海湾相)、近岸浅海相(潮成沙体相)和潮滩相构成。全新统海侵层主要受控于晚更新世末SE→NW逐渐抬高的掀斜状古地形,表现出明显的水平相交,可归纳为四种层序类型。本文通过钻孔剖面分析对比,揭示了研究区垂向相序演替和水平相变的规律及其二者间的关系,恢复了全新世沉积演化过程。
