The electronoptical properties of diode image converter, in which the hyperbolic field is used for cathode lens, have been analyzed and calculated.Correcting aberrations of diode image converter with plane or spherical cathode is discussed in detail. Both numerical calculation and analysis show that aberrations of the two tubes can be conected most effectively and resolution capability can be increased prominently, when potential distribution in cathode edge region approaches to hyperbolic field.

A systematic study is made for the transfer theory of geodesic lenses. Formulas for cardinal points, principal planes and focal length of geodesic lens are derived to investigate their characteristics. Compared with the traditional lenses, aberration free geodesic lenses, whose principal plane is a part of circle, can focus ideally not only for the paraxial rays but also for the off axis rays. The results can be applied to the design of systems with geodesic lenses.

提出对光波导短程透镜传输理论进行系统研究的思想,推导出短程透镜基点(包括焦点和主点)、主面与焦距的表达式.研究了其焦点、主面的特殊性质,并与传统光学透镜的有关参量进行对比,得出消球差短程透镜不仅对近轴光线,而且对离轴光线均可实现理想聚焦,以及主平面为一段圆弧的特性.这一工作为短程透镜系统传输理论的建立打下了基础,适用于含短程透镜的系统设计与计算.

According to the obtained characteristics of focal points and principal planes, using the expressions of focal point, focal plane, focal length, principal point, and principal plane of geodesic lenses (GL), the geometry graphic imaging formation principles of geodesic lenses are developed to get the object-image-relation of geodesic lenses. These rules fit for both paraxial rays and off-axis rays. Therefore, the object-image-correlation of parallel light, on-axis points, off-axis points and object AB can be obtained freely by graphic method. They are profitable for designing and calculating the systems containing GL.
