This paper addresses the problem of torque ripple minimization in permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSM).A model of PMSM that includes the influence of torque ripple is developed and an adaptive control feedback structure based on the vector control system is proposed.An adaptive control algorithm is then described,enabling speed tracking while minimizing the torque ripple.Finally,the proposed algorithm is verified by simulations.

This paper addresses on the problem of torque ripple compensation in permanent magnet synchronous motors. A model of PMSM that includes the influence of torque ripple is developed and a feedback control structure based on the vector control system is proposed. A flux estimator based on kalman filter is then described,the filter model does not require the pre-knowledge of the back-EMF waveforms. Finally,the proposed algorithm is verified by simulations.
