An investigation was conducted to observe the microstructure and macro-or micro-fracture surface, and to determine the fracture toughness and impact toughness of fatigue precracked specimens of four different types of structure of a medium-carbon CrNiMo steel. Some primary results were shown that its highest fracture toughness was evaluated by the specimens of sorbitie structure tempered at 600℃, but the lowest up to about 300℃. The characteristics of fully austenitic weld metals and austenitic-ferritic weld metals were investigated and the ability of d-ferrite to prevent solidification cracks was studied. The observation on fracture surfaces of fully austenitic weld metals showed that residual liquids existed between the cell dendritic crystals and the bonding of these crystals had not been established yet.So the cracks were very easy to occur when the weld metals were on the strain. Some plastic regions could be found and some dimples...

Some plastic regions could be found and some dimples had been observed on the fracture surfaces of the solidification cracking of austenitic-ferritic weld metals. The more the weld metal contained d-ferrites, the larger the plastic regions were. Experimental results indicated that the morphology of these plastic regions on the fracture surfaces were that of the d-ferrites. With the help of these d-ferrites the solid phase bonding were estabilished among cell dendritic crystals. And the solidification cracks in the austenitic weld metals could be prevented with enough d-ferrites.

本文研究了纯奥氏体焊缝和奥氏体-铁素体焊缝凝固裂纹特征,探讨了铁素体防止焊缝凝固裂纹的作用。纯奥氏体焊缝裂纹断口观察表明开裂时胞状柱晶间存在残余液态金属,已结晶的胞状柱晶间未建立固相结合,在应力作用下极易开裂。少量铁素体的焊缝凝固裂纹断口上有许多小塑性区,有明显的韧窝。焊缝中铁素体多,塑性区也多。试验证明塑性区是铁素体的断裂形貌。铁素体使奥氏体胞状柱晶间形成固相结合,足够的铁素体相可防止奥氏体焊缝产生凝固裂纹。
