1, 3-bis(3'-chloro-anilino)- 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene is an important intermediate of a new heat-resistant explosive. It is synthesized via Ullmann condensation of 1,3-dichloro-2, 4,6-trinitrobenzene and 3-chloroaniline.
Our article described four possible ways of synthesizing new polynitro stilbenes compounds serving as the intermedia of energetic materials or heat-resistant explosives,gave their melting points,elemental and spectral analyses.

Based on some theoretical reasoning , the authors believe that when the moistening heat of the bonding agent(to water) is approximately equal to that of the explosives (to water), the bonding agent can be properly applied as the coherent in preparing PBX explosive (in water).
