Objective To observe the effect of millimeter wave irradiation on experimental renal impairment in rabbits. Methods Sixteen rabbits were recruited and randomly divided into three groups (A, B, C). Group C served as control in the experiment. The renal impairment was induced by intramuscular injection of gentamycin with rats in groups A and B once daily for seven days consecutively. Objective To observe the effect of millimeter wave irradiation on experimental renal impairment in rabbits. Methods Sixteen rabbits were recruited and randomly divided into three groups (A, B, C). Group C served as control in the experiment. The renal impairment was induced by intramuscular injection of gentamycin with rats in groups A and B once daily for seven days consecutively. Simultaneously, the rabbits in group A were treated with millimeter wave at the 1st day after injection. Group B were given no other special treatment. BUN, Scr, Urine Volume/24h and Ccr were measured before experiment and at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th days after injection. At the end of experiment, all rabbits were sacrificed for histopathologic examination. Results In group A the content of BUN was not significantly different when compared with that of pre-experiment,. In group B, BUN was significantly higher at the 10th day than that of pre-experiment. There was significant difference between the groups A and B at the 10th day. At the 10th day Scr was lower than that of pre-experiment in group A, but significantly higher than that of pre-experiment in group B. There was significant difference between the groups A and B at the 7th and 10th days after experiment. Urine volume/24h was increased significantly at the 10th day in group A, but decreased significantly in group B at the 7th day. Ccr presented an obvious changes at the 10th day in group B. Histopathologic examination revealed a slighter structural changes in the group A than that of group B. Conclusion Millimeter wave could improve renal function and reduce gentamycin-induced nephrotoxicity in rabbits. It indicated that the millimeter wave irradiation had the therapeutic and preventive effect on the experimental acute renal impairment in rabbits.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of real time gray-scale ultrasound contrast imaging in assessing acute renal trauma in rabbits.Methods Blunt and piercing renal trauma were induced in 18 white New Zealand rabbits under systemic anesthesia.Conventional ultrasonography and gray-scale contrast enhanced ultrasonogaphy were performed to detect the traumatic lesion.The results of ultrasonography were compared with operation and pathologic findings.Results Accuracy of detecting acute renal trauma and sensitivity of evaluating severity of renal trauma with Grayscale contrast enhanced ultrasonogaphy were higher than that of conventional ultrasonography(P<0.05).Conclusion This experimental study showed high sensitivity and specificity of real time gray-scale ultrasound contrast imaging in demonstrating renal trauma.

Objective Gray scale contrast-enhanced ultrasonography was used in the evaluation of acute renal trauma in comparison with pathological findings in order to explore the clinical significance of this new diagnostic method.Methods Cute and blunt injuries of different levels were produced in 32 kidneys of 18 New Zealand rabbits,gray scale contrast-enhanced ultrasonography was used to examine the damaged kidneys and the results were compared with surgical and pathological findings.Results Intrarenal hematomas appeared to be non-enhanced or unevenly enhanced areas in 26 kidneys during arterial and parenchymal phase.Subcapsular hematomas appeared to be arc-shaped non-enhanced area in 18 kidneys.Active hemorrhage within 21 kidneys or around the kidneys showed abnormally enhanced.Diffuse concusion showed delayed and attenuated enhanced in 2 kidneys.Conclusions Gray scale contrast enhanced ultrasonography could clearly demonstrate the site and degree of damage and help to determine the occurrence of bleeding so as to improve the accuracy of ultrasonography for the diagnosis of acute renal injury.

目的应用灰阶超声造影观察兔急性肾损伤并与病理对照,探索该技术在急性肾损伤中的诊断价值。方法对18只新西兰大白兔的32个肾脏分别实施不同程度锐器及钝器损伤,应用灰阶超声造影观察肾脏造影情况,并与手术及病理诊断结果对照分析。结果26处肾内血肿于动脉期及实质期呈无增强区或不均匀增强区;18处肾包膜下血肿于肾周见弧形无增强区;21处活动性出血于肾内或肾周见异常增强区;2例肾弥漫性挫伤造影增强延迟并减弱。结论灰阶超声造影较清楚地显示肾损伤的部位及程度,在肾血肿、挫伤及活动性出血的表现有所不同,提高了超声对急性肾损伤诊断的准确性。
