This paper introduces basic principles of heat-scan infrared NDT and desribes the method and the results of the appliations of the Heat-sean Irfrared NDT Machine Type HT-1 to the inspectin for adhesion of the propellant of the rocket motor to the envelop.
Considering laser scanning technique,infrared method and electronic technology,studied and designed a set of infrared NDT system with laser scanning automatic heat loading method in this paper.
According to the peculiarity of infrared nondestructive test, image processing and analysis approach suited for that test was proposed. As two focal points, the correction problem of infrared image under non uniform heating condition, and defect separation problem of infrared image under different location contrast condition, both were solved.
